Into Space
Spatial Motion
This project focused on creating a short video composition designed with Z-Depth, placing visual elements in a simulated 3D space to create a sense of depth, layering, and motion. The objective was to explore how objects and visuals could move within a dynamic space to create a more immersive and engaging visual experience
.Using After Effects, I positioned graphic elements along the Z-axis to establish a layered environment. As the virtual camera moved through the space, the composition revealed shifting perspectives, transitions, and visual relationships.
One of the main challenges was maintaining visual harmony while working with multiple layers at different depths. It required thoughtful control over scale, timing, and camera movement to ensure the viewer’s focus was directed effectively.
This project strengthened my skills in motion design, spatial thinking, and technical tools like camera animation and parallax effects — all while pushing my ability to tell visual stories beyond the flat screen.
